Description | Exploration of the history and evolution of Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) systems and applications. Includes the MIDI language and applications in the studio environment using software-based sequencing programs. | ||||||||

Quizzes and Chapter Exams will be ongoing per our reading and exploration into the course materials. Assignments (weekly) will often generate from our readings and class discussion. The Final will be by Examination, Project, or combination of both. Participation points are awarded by full engagement in the learning environment during class time. Assignments are subject to change depending on class demands and needs |

Attendance Policy |
You get one "free" absence before your late/absences start to count against your grade in the attendance category. 3 tardies will result in 1 absence. After 5 absences and a discussion with the student, a letter grade will be dropped after each absence. |
